Pork Chops with Five Spices

INGREDIENTS 3 pounds pork tenderloin, cut lengthwise into 5 or 6 strips
MARINADE
1 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon "five spices"*
1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger or 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons cooking oilMarinate the meat for 1 hour at room temperature.
Charcoal broil until golden.
NOTE - The marinade can be refrigerated and reused, each time adding 1/4 of the above spices. *If you cannot find "five spice powder", substitute with 1/2 teaspoon each of powder anise, cloves, garlic, and cinnamon.
