Jack Barbecue Sauce

INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup Jack Danials black lable whiskey
1/2 cup strong black coffee
1/2 cup DARK brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1-1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
2 garlic cloves garic, chopped very fine
1-1/2 teaspoons sweet Paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnarmon
1 teaspoon onion powder, (not salt but you can use onion flakes)
Sea salt, to tasteCombine all together and mix fairly well. Place over flame (burner) and bring to heat, Never Boil, 10 minutes. Let it sit, off heat, for 1/2 hour.
Use as a mop, baste or sauce at the table. If you favor a tomato based sauce, as do I, add 4 tablespoons tomato paste and an extra 3 tablespoons of brown sugar.
