Beef Noodle Soup

INGREDIENTS

1-1/2 pounds boneless beef, cubed
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons onion salt
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 cup beef broth, lowfat okay
1-1/2 quarts water
1 pound egg noodles, uncooked

In a large, oven-proof skillet or a Dutch oven, brown beef cubes in oil and salts. Add vinegar to pan. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add beef broth and water to pan.

Cover pan and place in a 350 degree oven for 1-1/2 hours. Remove from oven, bring to boil on stovetop, and add noodles. Boil for 20 minutes.

Makes 8 servings
