Bread Pudding

INGREDIENTS 2 loaves bread
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 large box raisins
3 eggsSoak bread in water. Squeeze excess water from bread, place in a medium mixing bowl. Mix vanilla and eggs in mixing bowl. Add sugar and raisins and mix well. Melt butter; add to mixture, stir well.
Place mixture in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. The pudding should be golden brown. Let cool 1 hour before serving.
