Sautéed Sweet Red and Green Peppers

Red and green sweet bell peppers, slightly different in taste, are very compatible cooked together.

INGREDIENTS

4 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 sweet red peppers, cut in 1/4-inch strips
2 green peppers, cut in 1/4-inch strips
Salt
Coarsely ground pepper

Heat the oil in a skillet. Put the peppers in the skillet and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring to coat with the oil. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper to taste.
