Garlic-Cheese Grits

INGREDIENTS

7 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups uncooked regular grits
1 (6-ounce) roll process cheese food with garlic, cubed
6-ounces process cheese food, cubed
1 cup butter, melted
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Carrot curls, optional
Parsley sprigs, optional

Combine water and salt in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Gradually add grits, stirring constantly. Return to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes, stirring often. Remove grits from heat. Add garlic cheese, cheese, butter, eggs, milk and pepper to grits; stir until cheese cubes melt.

Spoon into two lightly greased 8-inch square baking dishes or one 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until set. Garnish with carrot curls and parsley sprigs, if desired.
