Steamed Cabbage with Browned Butter and Caraway

INGREDIENTS 1 head green cabbage
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter
1 teaspoon caraway seeds, optionalCut cabbage into wedges; leaving core intact to hold wedges together. Steam cabbage about 8 minutes, covered, on a rack over a small amount of rapidly boiling water, until tender with still a bit of crunchiness.
Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Cook 3 to 4 minutes until butter turns brown for a rich nutty flavor. Remove from heat immediately. Stir in caraway seeds, if using. Drizzle over cabbage and serve.
