Broccoli Amandino

INGREDIENTS

2 pounds fresh broccoli
1/4 teaspoon butter
2 green onions, minced
1/4 cup chopped almonds
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste

Cook the broccoli in boiling water. Drain and keep warm.

Heat the butter until melted and slightly browned. Add the green onions and almonds and stir over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Add the lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the broccoli and serve warm.
