Pasta e Fagiole
Print This Recipe
The famous "pasta fazool" is an American colloquialism for this hearty soup of pasta and beans. Dean Martin immortalized it in his song, "That's Amore" ("When the stars make you drool, just like pasta fazool, that's amore"). Made all over Italy, it's a soup of many variations. This version is quite simple, very quick to make, and very satisfying to enjoy.
