Barbecued Counry Spareribs

INGREDIENTS 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
4-1/2 pounds fresh country-style spareribs, cut into serving pieces
2/3 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauceMix garlic powder, onion powder and salt; rub on pork spareribs. Place spareribs bone sides down on rack in shallow roasting pan. Roast, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
Mix remaining ingredients; reserve.
Cover and grill spareribs 5 to 6-inches from medium coals, turning and brushing 2 or 3 times with reserved ketchup mixture, until spareribs are done and meat begins to pull away from bone, 170 degrees, 20 to 30 minutes. Pour remaining ketchup mixture over spareribs before serving.
