Cheese Cake Pumpkin Pie

INGREDIENTS

FIRST LAYER

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell

SECOND LAYER

1-1/4 cups canned pumpkin
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Dash of salt

FIRST LAYER - Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla; mixing until well blended. Add egg and mix well. Spread into bottom of pastry shell.

SECOND LAYER - Combine pumpkin, milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt. Mix well. Carefully pour over cream cheese mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Cool.
