Apple Pie 1

INGREDIENTS

CRUST

3 cups flour
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
6 tablespoons cold water

FILLING

1 can apples
1 cup sugar
1 large teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/3 cup flour
2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Roll out bottom crust for the pie. Mix the filling ingredients together and pour into bottom shell. Dot with butter on top of filling. Roll out top crust; flute edge and cut vents in top pie crust.

Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 45 minutes or until done.
