Barnyard Soup with Matzo Balls

INGREDIENTS

1 quart chicken broth
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 cooked chicken breasts
Thin slices of raw radishes
Thin slices of spring onion tops
1 recipe Matzo Balls
1/2 cup heavy cream, optional

Heat chicken broth. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Cut the cooked chicken breasts into long thin slivers. Drop them into chicken broth with the slices of radishes and spring onion tops. Serve with Matzo Balls, two for each serving.

NOTE: If a cream soup is preferred, add 1/2 cup heavy cream, in which case, however, omit the Matzo Balls.

Makes 6 servings
