Baked Scallops With Mushrooms In Cream

INGREDIENTS 2 pound scallops
Salt and pepper
1/2 pound mushrooms
2 ounces butter
2 cups Marie's Cream Sauce
1/2 cup grated cheese, either Swiss or AmericanPreheat oven to 400 degrees.
Butter a 2-quart glass casserole. Place a layer of scallops in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, cover with a layer of sliced mushrooms that have been lightly sautéed in 2 ounces of butter. Cover with 1 cup of Cream Sauce. Top with a second layer of scallops, a second layer of mushrooms, and a second cup of Cream Sauce.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup grated cheese of choice evenly on top of the casserole and place in a 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes.
