Bread Stuffing For Poultry

INGREDIENTS

1 quart bread
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon onion, minced
1 large egg, slightly beaten
Water
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Giblets from poultry, partially cooked and chopped fine

Soak the bread in cold water and squeeze out as dry as possible. Add the seasoning ingredients and melted butter; mix thoroughly. Add the beaten egg, the heart, liver and gizzard, prepared as above. Mix well. Use for stuffing fowl.
