Print This Recipe

You can also use chicken in this dish in place of the shrimp.

INGREDIENTS

1 pound raw, shelled, deveined, and rinsed shrimp
Minced garlic cloves, to personal taste
Olive oil
Angel Hair Pasta, cooked al dente and drained
Butter
Garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish, optional

Sauté the minced garlic cloves in a little oil until garlic just begins to brown; do not over cook, as the cloves will become bitter.

Add shrimp to garlic cloves; sauté until shrimp are cooked through and turn pink, being careful not to overcook them; they will get tough.

Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain. Toss with enough butter to gently coat and add the garlic salt and pepper, to taste.

Pour pasta into a large serving dish and place shrimp, oil, garlic cloves and all, over pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley.

NOTE: - If you use chicken in place of the shrimp, cut boned and skinned chicken breasts into bite-size pieces and proceed as above.
