Barbecued Flank Steak

INGREDIENTS 2 pounds beef flank steak
1 garlic clove, crushed to a paste
2 to 3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano leavesScore the flank steak diagonally on both sides. Blend all of the remaining ingredients together until they are smooth. Pour the sauce over the steak, and marinate it in the refrigerator overnight.
Grill the steak over hot coals for 4 to 7 minutes on each side.
