Sliced Tomatoes In Vinaigrette

INGREDIENTS

2 to 3 large ripe tomatoes, cored and sliced
4 to 6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
4 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon finely ground white pepper

Arrange tomatoes and basil leaves in a shallow serving bowl. Stir together well the remaining ingredients and pour over tomatoes.

Can rest at room temperature for 30 minutes, or be served immediately.
