Cajun Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS 1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 pounds boneless pork loin chops, 1/2-inch thick, about 4-ounces each
2 teaspoons Crisco Shortening or Crisco Oil
Creole Beans and RiceCombine paprika, seasoned salt, sage, cayenne, pepper and garlic powder. Coat chops with seasoning mixture on both sides.
Heat Crisco Shortening or Crisco Oil in a large non-stick skillet on high heat. Put chops in pan. Reduce heat to medium. Fry on both sides 6 to 8 minutes or until dark brown. Serve with Creole Beans and Rice.
