Strawberries In Cream

INGREDIENTS 3 tablespoons sugar, divided
1 cup finely chopped fresh strawberries
1 (8-ounce) carton commercial sour cream
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup dry white wine
Strawberry fans, optionalSprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar over chopped strawberries; let stand 15 minutes.
Combine remaining 1 tablespoon sugar, sour cream, whipping cream and wine, beat with a wire whisk until smooth. Fold in strawberry mixture.
Cover and chill at least 1 hour. Spoon into bowls, and garnish each serving with a strawberry fan, if desired.
Makes 4 cups
