Egg custard is a popular international dish. It can be served hot or cold as a dessert, breakfast, or snack! This recipe can be easily doubled.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon vanillaBeat egg slightly. Add sugar and salt. Pour milk over egg mixture and stir. Add vanilla and pour into custard cups.
Place cups in pan of hot water and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until firm and jelly-like. Remove and serve warm or chill - your preference.
