Broiled Tomatoes

INGREDIENTS

4 medium-sized tomatoes
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon minced onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon curry powder, optional

Wash, but do not peel tomatoes. Cut crosswise into halves. Place cut-side-up in a shallow baking pan. Spread first with mustard and then with combined crumbs, onion and seasoning.

Broil 15 minutes or until nicely browned.

NOTE - I like to sprinkle a little Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese over the tomatoes just before they are finished browning to melt the cheese.
