Green Bean Sauté

INGREDIENTS

1-1/2 pounds green beans
4 tablespoons butter
4 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
Salt and pepper, to taste

Cook fresh green beans, covered, in a small amount of boiling, salted water until crisp-tender. Do not overcook. Drain.

Sauté the beans in the butter for 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle with the crisp, crumbled bacon.

Makes 6 to 8 servings
