Baked Lima Beans

INGREDIENTS

1 quart lima beans
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1/2 pound bacon
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons King Syrup molasses

Boil beans until soft. Drain off excess water. Combine cornstarch and water and add to beans. Cook until thickened.

Fry bacon until crisp. Drain. Crumble and add to beans. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Makes 4 to 6 servings

NOTE - When I am not able to get fresh lima beans, I use frozen lima beans in place of the fresh. Both work well.
