Gosh, I can hardly believe it's this time of year again. December is a very busy month for me....(that's an understatement)! With all the normal preparations for the upcoming holiday, I embark on some heavy duty baking. Somehow, I seem to have become the "cookie supplier" for everyone...lol. Not only for my family, who each have their favorites that I bake for them, as a volunteer at my grandchildren's school, I bake cookies for the kids at school. Several years ago I baked a dozen cookies for each student (700 students this year) at school as a small gift from our family. Boy! It has become a tradition, but to say that's a lot of cookies, goes without saying. So I start the week after Thanksgiving, baking cookies several times a week, bagging and storing them in airtight containers.
