Glazed Carrots 2

INGREDIENTS

2 pounds carrots, sliced on the diagonal
1-1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 to 1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup water

In a large skillet combine carrots, butter, sugar, and water. Simmer carrots, covered, until just tender, 6 to 8 minutes. Uncover and continue to cook until the water has evaporated and the butter and sugar have formed a glaze.

Makes 6 servings
