Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts

INGREDIENTS

1-1/2 pounds fresh Brussels sprouts
1/2 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons white wine
Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2/3 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
1/2 cup mandarin orange segments

Wash Brussels sprouts; remove any discolored leaves. Cut off stem ends, and cut a shallow "X" in the bottom of each sprout.

Place Brussels sprouts in a saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 8 minutes or until tender. Drain. Transfer Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl; keep warm.

Combine oil and next 6 ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Pour mixture over Brussels sprouts. Add walnuts and orange segments; toss gently. Serve warm.
