Jelly-Roll Trifle

INGREDIENTS 1 (3-1/2 or 4-ounce) package Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
2 cups milk
2 medium-size ripe bananas
1 (7-ounce) package individual jelly rolls
Sherry, optionalPrepare puddding mix with the milk, as package directs.
Slice bananas, on the diagonal,1/4-inch thick; stir into the prepared vanilla pudding.
Cut each jelly roll into 6 slices. Sprinkle with a little sherry, if desired. In the bottom of a 1-quart glass serving bowl, make a layer of jelly-roll slices; line side of bowl with more slices.
Pour pudding into prepared dish. Top with rest of jelly-roll slices.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
