Easy Doughnuts

INGREDIENTS

Oil, for frying
1 (12-ounce) can refrigerated fluffy buttermilk biscuits
Granulated or powdered sugar, if desired

Heat oil (2-inches) in Dutch oven or deep fryer to 375 degrees.

Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Cut hole in center of each biscuit using a small round cookie cutter.

Fry biscuits and holes in hot oil for 1 to 2 minutes or each side or until deep golden brown. Carefully remove from oil (do not prick surfaces). Drain on paper towels. Roll warm doughnuts and holes in sugar; serve warm.
