Buttered Carrots and Celery

INGREDIENTS 5 medium carrots, scraped and cut into julienne strips
4 stalks celery, cut into julienne strips
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
Combine first 7 ingredients in a 2-1/2-quart baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes; drain. Add 2 tablespoons butter, tossing to coat.
Makes 6 to 8 servings
