Broccoli Bake

INGREDIENTS 1-1/2 pounds fresh broccoli
5 eggs, beaten
1 cup cream-style cottage cheese
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheeseTrim off large leaves of broccoli, and remove tough ends; wash thoroughly. Cut tops into flowerets and stalks into 1/2-inch pieces; cook flowerets and pieces, covered, in a small amount of boiling water 8 minutes. Drain.
Arrange broccoli in a lightly greased 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.
Combine eggs and next 5 ingredients, stirring well; pour evenly over broccoli.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20 minutes; sprinkle with cheese, and bake an additional 5 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.
