Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

INGREDIENTS

1 cup soft butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.

In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in the oats and raisins.

Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes before removing.
