Perishky (Jam Cookies)

These are a great cookie!
INGREDIENTS
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
Juice and rind of 1/2 lemon
Enough flour to make a soft dough
Tart jam, of choicePreheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition.
Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately to egg mixture with the sour cream.
Roll out, cut with round cookie cutter and spoon on tart jam. Fold over and seal the edges well.
Place on lightly greased baking sheets and bake until golden brown.
