Herb-Baked Chicken In Cream

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
Generous sprinkling of freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon celery salt
Pinch of cayenne
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced
1 chicken, about 3-1/2 pounds, cut in serving pieces
1 cup heavy cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Thoroughly mix flour, seasonings, and parsley. Dredge chicken on all sides with flour mixture.

Place chicken pieces in a 2-1/2 quart ovenproof casserole with a tight-fitting cover. Pour cream over chicken.

Cover casserole and bake for approximately 50 minutes, or until chicken is fork-tender. Remove cover from casserole and bake chicken for 15 minutes more.
