Oriental Casserole

1-½ HOURS COOKING TIME ADVANCED PREPARATION
In skillet cook 1 pound ground beef, 1/3 cup chopped celery, 1/3 cup chopped onion, and ¼ cup chopped green pepper until meat is browned. Drain. Add 1 cup water; bring to boiling.
Combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1 teaspoon sugar, and ¼ teaspoon ground ginger; blend in 2 tablespoons water and ¼ cup soy sauce. Add to beef mixture; cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Stir in 1 can chop suey vegetables, drained. Break apart one 10-ounce package frozen peas; add to beef mixture.
Pour into 2-quart baking dish. Cover; Freeze.
BEFORE SERVING
Bake frozen casserole, covered, at 400 degrees for 1-¼ hours. Uncover; bake 15 minutes more.
Serve with chow mein noodles.
