Make Ahead Meals - Ham Guide 2

Ham

This is another simple Ham Plan from Robbyn's Friendly Freezer. I purchase my ham at Sam's Club or Costco where I can buy in bulk at fairly reasonable prices.

Purchase a large ready-to-eat ham and bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours or until heated through. Use for tonight's supper along with your favorite sides. We usually have mashed potatoes and a green (either peas, broccoli, asparagus, etc.) Depending on the time of day, (and how tired I am) I either wrap it and refrigerate or begin my Menu Plan right away.

MENU

Divide the leftover ham into the following:

SLICES - (Use the biggest pieces for this)

Pizza night
Egg McMom's
Ham and Scalloped Potatoes

SHREDDED - (The outer part is best for this, whatever is falling apart)

Anything you would use diced

Ham and Cheese Biscuits
BBQ Ham Sandwiches

DICED - (Chop up the small and odd pieces)

Omelets
Breakfast Burritos
Linguine a la Anne
Ham and Cheese Pockets
Breakfast Casserole

HAM BONE

Split Pea Soup
Navy Bean Soup
