Chicken Adobo

Not really a recipe, determine the proper strength by smell and taste.
INGREDIENTS2 pounds chicken pieces
1 bottle white vinegar or cider vinegar
1 bottle soy sauce
3 to 6 bay leaves
Garlic, fresh minced or powder
Onions, fresh minced, powder, or dried
Juice of 1 to 2 lemons
Pepper, to taste
WaterRinse chicken pieces and place in a large pot. Add vinegar and soy sauce to your own personal taste. Start with at least half and half and go from there. If the chicken is not completely covered with sauce add water to cover...there should be more sauce than water. Add bay leaves and garlic to personal taste (my family likes a LOT of garlic), onions to taste, lemon juice and pepper.
Bring to a boil, allow to simmer about 1 to 2 hours and then serve with rice.
