INGREDIENTS

1 recipe Ultimate Quick-and-Easy Pasta Sauce

PLUS 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced (use caution)
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup tequila
1 tablespoon minced fresh cilantro

Heat oil in a saucepan or heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic and jalapeno; sauté 5 minutes. Stir in wine and next 7 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and cook, uncovered, 10 minutes. Stir in tequila, parsley, and cilantro; cook 5 minutes.
