Hardtack Cookies

INGREDIENTS

4 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
4 to 5 cups flour
1-1/2 cups cream
1-1/2 cups milk

Mix this together well. You need enough flour to handle well. Roll out on well-floured surface with a a knobby rolling pin. The thiner, the crispier. Cut into pieces and bake on cookie sheets at 365 to 375 degrees until lightly brown on edges.
