Cane Syrup Pie

INGREDIENTS

5 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon allspice
2 cups cane syrup
1 stick butter, melted
1 tablespoon flour
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. In a medium bowl, mix the butter, sugar, and eggs.

Add to the mixture the syrup, flour, and spices. Beat until smooth.

Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until the crust is brown and the mixture thickens.
