Doughnut Maker Donuts

INGREDIENTS
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 cups flourMix together ingredients in order given. Fill donut maker. Drop into hot fat, turn immediately, then again as they appear to crack and bubble out of the edges.
