INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons salad oil
3 medium onions
2 pounds ground beef
3 tablespoons chili powder
1-1/2 tablespoons sugar
Salt
2 (16-ounce) cans stewed tomatoes, cut into small pieces
2 (16-ounce) can kidney beans
1 (14-ounce) bottle Heinz ketchup

Dice and sauté onions in large 4-quart pot. Add beef and cook with seasonings until browned. Add stewed tomatoes, kidney beans and ketchup. Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serves 6 to 8
