Barbecued Ribs of Beef

INGREDIENTS

3 pounds short ribs
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ribs in heated casserole or Dutch oven. Pour off fat that accumulates.

Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover and bake for 2 hours. Remove cover for the last 1/2 hour of baking.

Serves 6 to 8
