FROM- Italian Times INGREDIENTS
1/2 pound sugar
1/4 pound shelled, blanched almonds
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 egg whitesPulverize almonds. Mix thoroughly with half of sugar and extract. Beat egg whites until very stiff. Add almond mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Shape into cookies about 2 inches in diameter. Place on greased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake until golden brown.
