Caramelized Chestnuts

INGREDIENTS

1 pound cooked fresh chestnuts, shelled, peeled, and chopped
6 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons granulated sugar

Use a large sauté pan to melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the chestnuts and cook for about 5 minutes. Once browned, add the sugar and toss. Allow to caramelize for about another 5 minutes.
