INGREDIENTS

10 thick spareribs
2 tablespoons oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 onion, sliced
1 cup catsup
1 cup water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Brown ribs in oil in skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Place in 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish, reserving 2 teaspoons pan drippings.

Sauté onion in reserved pan drippings in skillet until tender. Add catchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire, vinegar, mustard, lemon juice, and garlic salt; mix well. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.

Pour sauce over ribs. Bake (uncovered) in preheated 350 degree oven 45 minutes or until done.

NOTE - You can use 3-1/2 pounds pork loin country-style ribs, cut into serving pieces. There is a lot of delicious sauce left after baking the ribs. Taste's great served over mashed potatoes.
