Really Good Frosting

Mmmmm - this frosting is really good! You can either ice cookies with it, or cut pieces of cake into small shapes and make "petit fours". Makes 3 to 4 cups
INGREDIENTS
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 to 1/2 cup milk
Food coloring, optionalCream butter and add sugar alternately with milk, use enough milk to have a semi thin icing, but not watery. Mix in vanilla.
Separate icing into several bowls and tint each a different color. Frost cookies and decorate!
