Banana Fudge Marble Cake

INGREDIENTS

CAKE

1 (18.25-ounces) package Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Fudge Marble Cake Mix
3 egg whites
1 cup ripe mashed banana
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup Crisco oil

FROSTING

1 (4-serving size) package banana flavor instant pudding and pie filling mix
2 envelopes whipped topping mix
1-1/4 cups lowfat milk

TOPPING

1 sliced banana
1/2 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
Lemon juice

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

FOR CAKE - Combine cake mix, egg whites, mashed banana, water and Crisco oil in large bowl. Prepare, bake and cook following package directions.

FOR FROSTING - Combine pudding mix, whipped topping mix and milk in a large bowl. Beat at high speed of electric mixer 2 to 3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Fill and frost cake. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.

FOR TOPPING - Dip banana slices in lemon juice. Blot dry on paper towel. Garnish cake with whipped topping and banana slices.

NOTE - For a great flavor variation, serve cake slices with 1 or 2 tablespoons Fudge Sauce.
