Chocolate Buttermilk Icing

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup margarine
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/3 cup water
2 tablespoons buttermilk powder
3-1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nuts, chopped (optional)

Combine margarine, cocoa and water in a saucepan and heat until margarine and cocoa are melted. Stir in buttermilk powder and bring to a rapid boil.

Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts (if using). Stir until consistency is smooth.

Spread frosting on slightly warm cake or brownies.
