INGREDIENTS 2 pounds pork, cut into large cubes
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 cup water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 bay leafTrim fat from pork and cut into large cubes. Put into a heavy saucepan with remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; then lower heat. Simmer until pork is tender. Serve with rice.
